Various Types of Infertility

Primary Infertility: It can be defined as when a couple has never been able to conceive a pregnancy after a minimum of one year of attempting it.

Secondary Infertility: It is usually defined as the inability to conceive or able to carry a pregnancy to term after successfully and naturally conceiving one or more children.

Subfertility: When infertility is not absolute, that is, when there is a chance of pregnancy, but the chance reduces by each month, it is known as subfertility.

Male Infertility: This usually occurs when healthy sperm are absent in the semen and incapable of traveling to meet the ovum.

Female Infertility: As the name indicates, it happens in females. For a woman to be fertile, she should have healthy and functional reproductive organs.
